Advantage

Advantage in Daggerheart RPG – add a d6 die to your roll total when you seize an opportunity.

Advantage reflects a favorable circumstance — high ground, a distracted enemy, clever preparation, etc. When you have it, roll an extra d6 and add it to your total, boosting your odds of success.

Advantage and disadvantage always cancel each other out 1-for-1. If you have two sources of advantage and one of disadvantage, one pair cancels out and you still roll with advantage.

NPCs handle it differently: instead of a d6, the GM rolls an additional d20 and picks the highest (advantage) or lowest (disadvantage) result.
