Disadvantage

Disadvantage in Daggerheart RPG – subtract a d6 die from your roll total when facing additional difficulty.

Disadvantage represents an unfavorable condition — poor footing, impaired vision, being caught flat-footed, and so on. Roll a d6 and subtract it from your total, lowering your chances of meeting the Difficulty.

Advantage and disadvantage always cancel each other out 1-for-1. You'll never roll both at the same time — if you have equal amounts of each, neither applies.
