Downtime

Downtime is when the party rests, makes downtime moves, recovers resources, and advances personal scenes or projects.

Downtime is when the party rests between dangers. Each PC makes two downtime moves and can recover while developing character scenes.

The party chooses a short rest or long rest. You can take up to three short rests before the next rest must be long.

If a short rest is interrupted, it gives no benefits. If a long rest is interrupted, it grants short-rest benefits instead.

Downtime can include Work on a Project (often using a countdown). The GM also acts during downtime, gaining Fear and potentially advancing long-term countdowns.

Rests also refresh features/effects based on their wording: per rest, per long rest, or once per session.
