Short Rest
A short rest in Daggerheart RPG – catch your breath for about an hour and choose two downtime moves to partially recover.
A short rest is a brief break of about one hour. Each player can swap domain cards between their loadout and vault, then choose two of the following moves (or the same move twice):
- Tend to Wounds: clear 1d4 + tier Hit Points (can target an ally instead).
- Clear Stress: clear 1d4 + tier Stress.
- Repair Armor: clear 1d4 + tier Armor Slots (can target an ally instead).
- Prepare: gain 1 Hope. If you prepare with one or more party members, each of you gains 2 Hope instead.
